New sales portal offers over 5500 products online
F A Parkes recently updated website enables customers to benefit from the one-stop shop that the company is famous for: delivering locking systems and components for cabinets, enclosures, automotive industry, machinery, building & HVAC from EMKA, WBH, PINET, L&F and Stabilus to name just a few.
The website's new operating system allows users to create, edit or delete orders and quotations 24/7. Real-time stock availability is displayed, together with customer specific prices, discounts and delivery planning, all calculated using web services. Upon completion, the order is saved into the back office instantly, and the customer receives confirmation on the screen and (optionally) via e-mail with details of the total price, expected delivery date and order number.
Complex items can be configured by customers on the website to their individual needs, with full product details, dimensions and drawings easily accessible any time of the day.
